KMF Architects partnered with the University of Central Florida to create the National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) Plots, a permanent campus landmark that celebrates the history, achievements, and enduring legacy of the Divine Nine organizations.

Designed as a place of recognition, reflection, and gathering, the project provides a meaningful space that honors the contributions of historically African American fraternities and sororities to the university and the broader community.

Located within a prominent campus setting, the NPHC Plots feature a series of monument markers arranged around a central gathering space, creating a unified composition that highlights each member organization while reinforcing the collective identity of the National Pan-Hellenic Council. The design balances individual recognition with a shared sense of community, reflecting the values of leadership, scholarship, service, and cultural heritage that unite the organizations.

The site was carefully planned to create a welcoming and accessible environment for students, alumni, faculty, and visitors. Curved walkways, landscaped gathering areas, and a central plaza encourage interaction and provide opportunities for ceremonies, celebrations, educational events, and moments of reflection. The monument markers serve as lasting symbols of each organization's history and impact, creating a visible and permanent presence on campus.

Surrounded by mature trees and integrated into the existing campus landscape, the NPHC Plots establish a strong sense of place while complementing the character of the university. The project transforms an outdoor space into a destination that recognizes the accomplishments of generations of student leaders and strengthens connections between the university and its diverse campus community.

The completed NPHC Plots stand as a lasting tribute to the traditions, achievements, and influence of the Divine Nine, creating a place where history is celebrated, stories are shared, and future generations are inspired.
