KMF Architects partnered with Mount Dora Christian Academy to transform an existing facility into a dynamic Academic Success Center designed to support students, families, and educators through collaboration, mentorship, and individualized learning. The 5,000-square-foot renovation reimagines traditional educational spaces, creating a welcoming environment that encourages academic achievement, personal growth, and community engagement.

The design centers around a variety of flexible learning environments tailored to different educational needs. Open collaboration areas, tutoring nooks, testing rooms, counseling spaces, and small-group meeting areas provide students with access to individualized support while fostering meaningful interaction with faculty and peers. Thoughtfully integrated technology, adaptable furnishings, and multi-purpose spaces allow the center to evolve alongside the school's academic programs.

A key feature of the project is the creation of warm, inviting gathering spaces that blur the line between classroom and community. Comfortable lounges, collaborative worktables, and a covered outdoor patio encourage connection among students, parents, and staff while providing opportunities for informal learning and mentorship.
