The Winter Park Fire Rescue Training Facility is a purpose-built campus designed to enhance firefighter training, leadership development, and emergency preparedness for the City of Winter Park. Planned as a multi-phase development, the facility will provide realistic, hands-on training environments that prepare firefighters to respond safely and effectively to the challenges they face in the field.

The project includes a four-story fire training tower and burn building, along with a support pavilion featuring an outdoor classroom, restrooms, gathering spaces, and a covered apparatus bay. Together, these facilities create a versatile training environment capable of supporting live-fire exercises, rescue simulations, leadership development programs, and ongoing professional education.

The training tower serves as the centerpiece of the campus, providing a durable and flexible structure for a variety of training scenarios. Constructed with a structural steel frame system and exterior panel design, the tower enables firefighters to practice vertical operations, search and rescue techniques, ladder evolutions, and live-fire training in a controlled environment.

Complementing the tower, the pavilion provides a welcoming space for instruction, collaboration, and post-training activities. The building features exposed structural steel elements, masonry detailing, and covered outdoor areas that create both a functional and architecturally distinctive gathering space for firefighters and instructors.

Designed in close collaboration with Winter Park Fire Rescue, the facility establishes the foundation for a long-term training campus that can expand as future needs evolve. When complete, the Winter Park Fire Rescue Training Facility will provide a lasting resource that strengthens firefighter readiness, supports professional growth, and enhances the department's ability to serve and protect the community.
