The Orange County Emergency Operations Center renovation transformed an existing 5,450 SF facility into a modern, resilient command center designed to support critical emergency response operations around the clock. KMF Architects provided full architectural, project management, and construction administration services, creating a high-performance environment capable of maintaining continuous operations during both routine activities and major emergency events.

Designed to function independently of public utilities when necessary, the facility integrates robust mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, fire alarm, security, communications, and technology systems to ensure uninterrupted 24/7 operation. A state-of-the-art audio-visual and communications infrastructure provides emergency personnel with the tools needed for real-time coordination, decision-making, and incident management.

The renovated Emergency Operations Center enhances Orange County's emergency preparedness by delivering a resilient, technology-driven facility that strengthens operational efficiency and supports the safety and well-being of the community during times of crisis.
